What is activation energy ?...

What is activation energy ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Activation energy is energy required to overcome energy barrier of the reactants and make them reactive to start a chemical reaction. Activation energy is generally quite high. Enzymes lower the requirement of activation energy.
