What do you mean by homotypic and heterotypic division?

The division in which the daughter cells receive the same number of chromosomes as in their mother cell, known as homotypic division, e.g., mitosis and second meiotic division.
The division in which the daughter cells receive half the number of chromusomes as in their mother cell, is called heterotypie division, e.g., first meiotic division.
