Explain with the help of graph the variation of conductivity with temperature for a metallic conductor ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Resistivity `=(m)/("ne"^(2) tau)= rho`
conductivity `=("ne"^(2) tau)/(m)=(1)/(rho)`
with increases in temperature `tau` decreases. The conductivity decreases.
