Oparin reported that if a mixture of a large protein and a polysaccharides is shaken, coacervates are formed. The core of these coacervates was mainly formed of protein, polysacchraides and some water and was partially isolated from the surrounding aqueous solution having lower amount of proteins and polysaccharides.
