`omega=231rpm=(2pixx231)/(60)rps=24.2"rad s^(-1)`

When body performs circular motion, it is acted upon by a centripetal force in magnitude of which is given by
`F=mromega^(2)=0.12xx0.5xx(24.2)^(2)=35.1N`
