A function f(x) is defined as f(x)=x^2+3...

A function `f(x)` is defined as `f(x)=x^2+3`. Find `f(0), f(1), f(x^2), f(x+1)` and `f(f(1))`.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`f(0) = 0^2 + 3 = 3`
`f(1) = 1^2 + 3 = 4`
`f(x^2) = (x^2)^2 + 3 = x^4 + 4`
`f(x + 1) = (x + 1)^2 + 3 = x^2 + 2x + 4`
`f(f(1)) = f(4) = 4^2 + 3= 19`
