`2H_(2)S +SO_(2) rarr 3S + 2H_(2)O`
Oxidation state of S in `H_(2)S` is -2 and is oxidised to '0'. Oxidation state of S in `SO_(2)` is +4 and is reduced to '0'. Therefore this reaction is an example of comproportionation.
