What are the types of hydrogen bonding? Give example.

There are two types of hydrogen bonding
(i) lntramolecular hydrogen bonding
(ii) Intermolecular hydrogen bonding lntramolecular hydrogen bonds are those which occur within a single molecule.
Example : Ortho nitrophenol, Salicilaldehyde Intermolecular hydrogen bonds occur between two separate molecules. For example, intermolecular hydrogen bonds can occur between ammonia molecule themselves or between water molecules themselves or between ammonia and water.
