From where does ozone come in the photo chemical smog ?

In the earth's lower atmosphere ozone is formed when pollutant emitted by cars, power plants, industrial booilers, refineries etc chemically react in the presence of sunlight. It is formed by reaction between oxides of nitrogen and volatile organic compounds.
