Explain how oxygen deficiency is caused by carbon monoxide in our blood ?Give its effect.

(i) Carbon monoxide binds with haemoglobin and form carboxy the haemoglobin which impairs normal oxygen transport by blood and hence the oxygen carrying capacity of blood is reduced.
