(i) It is used in making of medicines. (ii) Digestion of fats in intestine takes place by the process of emulsification. (iii) The cleansing action of soap is due to the formation of emulsion of soap molecules with dirt and grease. (iv) Antiseptics and disinfectants when added to water form emulsion.
