Reaction (A) will not occur since ethers cannot be prepared by treating bromobenzene or iodobenzene with sodium salt of the corresponding alcohol like sodium methoxide or ethoxide. This is due to the reason aryl halides are much less reactive them allayl halides towards nucleophilic substitution reaction.
