An organic compound (A) of molecular formula `C_(6)H_(6)O` gives voilet color with neutral `FeCl_(3)` (A) gives maximum of two isomers (B) and (C ) when an alkaline solution of (A) is refluxed with `C Cl_(4)`, (A) also reacts with `C_(6)H_(5)N_(2)Cl` to give the compound (D) which is red orange dye. Identify (A), (B), ( C) and (D). Explain the suitable chemical reactions.

(i) Compound A giving violet colour with neutral ferric chloride is phenol. `(C_(6)H_(5)OH)`.
(ii) (B) and ( C) isomers are formed when alkaline solution of (A) is treated with `C Cl_(4)`.

(iii) (A) when treated with `C_(6)H_(5)N_(2)Cl`, forms a red orange dye (D).
