What is Mean Absolute error?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The arithmetic mean of the magnitude of absolute errors in all the measurements is called the mean absolte error.
It `a_(m)` is the true value and `Delta a_(m)` is the mean absolute error, then the magnitude of the quantity may lie between `a_(m)+Delta a_(m)` and `a_(m)-Delta a_(m)`
