Find the intensity at a point on a screen in Young's double slit experiment where the interfering waves of equal intensity have a path difference of `lamda/3`

Formula : ` I = I_0 cos^2 phi/2`
If `Delta x = lamda/3`
` rArr Delta phi = (2pi)/(lamda) xx lamda/3 = (2pi)/(3)`
` therefore I = 4I_0 cos^2 (Delta phi)/(2)`
` = 4I_0 cos^2 ((2pi)/(3 xx 2)) = I_0`
