An electron has the layer wavelength .Because de Broglie wavelength in terms of Kinetic Energy `( E_(k))` is
`lambda= ( h )/( sqrt(2mE_(k))),lambda prop (1)/( sqrt(m))` for the same kinetic energy. As an electron has a smaller mass than a proton, an electron has larger de Broglie wavelength than a proton for the same kinetic energy.
