Explain the disorders due to hyper and hyposecretion of glucocortioids.

1. Addison'sdisease is caused due to hyposecretion of glucocorticoids and mineralocorticoids from the adrenal cortex.
2. Muscular weakness low BP ,loss of appetite vomiting , hyper pigmentatin of skin , low metabolic rate ,subnormal temperature , reduced blood volume , weight loss are the symptoms that occurs is Addison's disease
3. Reduced aldosterone secretion increases urinary excretion of Na C1 . and water and decreases potassium excretion leading to dehydration.
4. Cushing 's syndrome is caused due to excess hyper secretion of cortisol
5. Obesity of the face and trunk redness of face hand ,feet , thin ,skin , excessive hair growth loss of minerals from bone ( osteoporosis ) systolic hypertension are featuresof Cushing 's syndrome
6. Suppression of sexual function like atrophy of gonads are the other symptoms of Cushing 's syndrome
