If 25 N of force is used to compress a spring , then how much reactive force exerted by spring ?

Text Solution

Reactive force by spring `=-25 N` .
When a 25 N of force is used to compress a spring , then same anoutn of force will be exerted by the spring in the opposite direction . This is according to Newton's III law of motion . i.e., For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction .
