A force of 200 dyne acts on a body of mass 10 g for 5 s. What will be the velocity of the body if it starts from rest ? Express in SI unit .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Force , F= 200 dyne
Mass m=10 g
t=5s
Acceleration , `a=(F)/(m) implies a=(200)/(10)=20 cm//s^(2)`
Velocity v= at `implies v= 20 xx 5=100 cm//s `
In SI unit `v=100 xx 10^(-2) ms^(-1) (or) 1 ms^(-1)`
`v=1 ms^(-1)`
