How does the pulmonary artery and pulmonary vein differ in their function when compared to a normal artery and vein ?

(I ) Normal artery carry oxygenated blood except the pulmonary artery which carry deoxygenated blood to the lungs .
(ii ) Normal vein carries deoxygenated blood but the pulmponary vein carries oxygenated blood from lungs to left atrium .
