What is triple fusion ?

(i) During fertilization proces in Angiosperms , the pollen grain produces two sperms.
(ii ) One sperm , fuses with the egg and forms a diploid zygote .
(iii ) Another sperm fuses with the secondary nucleus (2n ) of the embryo sac and forms a triploid endosperm nucleus . This is called triple fusion .
