Cross pollination is the transfer of pollens on the stigma of another flower. It is of two types.
(i) Geitonogamy:
When the pollen deposites on another flower of same individual plant, it is called geitongamy. It occurs in plants of monoecious plants .
(ii) Xenogamy:
When the pollen deposites on another flower of a different plant of same species.
