Amensalism is also called Antibiosis. It is a inter specific interaction in which one species is inhibited while the other species is neither benefitted nor harmed. Inhibition occurs by production of chemical substances called allelopathic substances.
Ex: Penicillium notatum (fungus) produces Penicillin which inhibits several bacteria.
