Express the condition for external torqu...

Express the condition for external torque on a body for a constant angular momentum.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

For a constant angular momentum external torque on a body=0
i.e. `|vectau|=0` and `|vecL|`=constant or angular moment is a constant.
i.e, `vecL=Ivecomega` where 'I' is moment of inertia and `vecomega` is angular velocity.
