State the conditions of equilibrium of a system of coplanar forces.

(i) The algebraic sum of the upward forces is equal to the algebraic sum of the downward forces for translator equilibrim( For Parallel forces). (ii) The algebraic sum of close wise moments is equal do the algebraic sum of anticlockwise moments about a point of rotation for rotatory equilibrium
(iii) The resultant of a no. of forces acting on the body should be equal to zero for coplanar forces.
`sumx=O,sumy=O`, so that `R=sqrt(X^2+Y^2)=0`
