Two boys weighing 30kg and 50kg are sitting on either side of the fulcrum of a see saw at distance 2m and 3m respectively. Where should a man of 60kg must sit to balance the see-saw ?

At equilibrium,
`30bar(AO)+60bar(CO)=50bar(BO)`
`30xx2+60x=50xx3`
`60x=150-60=90`
`:." "x=(90)/(60)=1.5m`
The man has to sit at 0.5 metre from A.
