Define 'Q' factor and sharpness of resonant curve.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Q' factor is defined as the ratio of `X_(L)` or `X_(C)` to the DC, resistance, `Q=(X_(L)orX_(C))/(R)`.
Sharpness of of resonant curve = `(f_(0))/(B.W)`
where, `f_(0)` - resonant frequency,
B.W - band width.
