If a coil is to have a reactance of `16Omega` for a frequency 2 kHz, then what must be its inductance? What will be its reactance at 10 Hz?

Required reactance of the coil `X_(L)=16Omega`
Frequency of `ACf=2kHz=2xx10^(3)Hz`
Let L be the inductance of the coil then, `X_(L)=2pifL`
i.e., `L=(X_(L))/(2pif)=(16)/(2xx3.14xx2xx10^(3))=1.27mH`
Reactance of the coil at a frequency `f=10Hz" is "X'_(L)=2pifL'`
`=2xx3.14xx10xx10xx1.27xx10^(-3)`
`=0.0791Omegaor79.7mOmega`
