Arrive at the expression for the magnetic flux density at the centre of the circular path of an electron in terms of magnetic moment.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

We know that
`B=((mu_(0))/(4pi))((2pi)/(r))i`
Multiplying and dividing by `r^(2)` we get ,
`B=((mu_(0))/(2pi))((ipir^(2))/(pir^(2)))`
i.e., `B=(mu_(0)m)/(2pir^(3))`
where , `m=i(pir^(2))` is known as the magnetic moment associated with the current loop.
