a. Liverworts are dorsiventral, thalloid or foliose.
b. Asexual reproduction is by fragementation of thalli.
c. Rhizoids are unicellular.
Example : Marchantia.
Moss :
a. Gametophytes consists of two stages (Protonema and leafy stage). Mosses are erect forms.
b. Asexual reproduction is by fragmentation and budding in secondary protonema.
c. Rhizods are multicellular.
Example : Funaria, polytrichum.
