Intracelluar Digestion : It occurs within the individul cells. Products of digestion, diffuse out into the surrounding cytoplasm.
Extracellular Digestion : This occurs outside the individual cells, generally in a cavity . The products of digestion pass on to the transport system , for distribuition by individual cells.
