It includes the collection of deoxygenated blood into the right chambers of the heart and then pumping the same to the lungs for oxygenation, and bringing back the oxygenated blood from the lungs into the left atrium
The superior venacava and inferior venacava collect the deoxygenated blood into the right atrium from anterior and posterior regions of the body respectively. Then it is pumped into the right ventricle. This in turn , pumps it to the lungs, through the pulmonary artery for purification.
The oxygenated blood leaves the lungs through veins which open into the left atrium.
