(a) When the two genes in a dihybrid cross are located on the same chromosome the proportion of parental gene combinations in the progeny was much higher than the non parental or combination of genes.
(b) The proportion of recombinants varies, even if the two genes are present on the same chromosome.
(c) If the linkage is stronger between two genes the frequency of recombination is low and vice versa.
