The properties of matter is classified into two ways, they are:
(a) Physical properties : which can be measured or observed without changing the idenitty or composition of substances Ex: colour, odour , MP, BP, density etc.
(b) Chemical properties: Here measurnment or observation of substances or requires a chemical changes to occu. Ex: acidity or basicity, combustibility etc.
