Show that Cl, Br, I is a triad or not ?...

Show that Cl, Br, I is a triad or not ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`{:("Element",Cl,Br,I),("Atomic Weight",35.5,80,127):}`
Here middle element is Br and atomic weight is 80.
`:.80=(35.5+127)/(2)=81.25`
Here Cl, Br, I are called triads
Because it has average atomic weight.
