Define temperature coefficient of a reaction. What is general value of it ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

It is the ratio of rate constants of reaction at two different temperatures differing by `10^(@)C`.
Temperature coefficient ` = (k_(T) + 10)/(k_(T)) = 2`
Temperature coefficeient of most of the reactions is 2.
