For each natural number k, let `C_k` denotes the circle radius k centimeters in the counter-clockwise direction.After completing its motion on `C_k`, the particle moves to `C_[k+1]` in the radial direction. The motion of the particle continues in this manner. The particle starts at (1,0).If the particle crosses the the positive direction of the x-axis for first time on the circle `C_n`,then n equal to

It is given that on the circle` C_k` of radius kcm, the particle moves kcm.
Therefore, angular displacement (theta) on kth circle is given by-
θ=(distance travelled by the particle)/(radius)=k/k radian=1 radian
Thus angular displacement on each circle is 1 radian.
If the particle crosses the x-axis for the first time on circle Cn, then-
Total angular displacement =n radians,
i.e., We have to move to the circle with radius n to cover the angle of 2(pi)n.
∴n>2pi

For each natural number k. Let C_(k) denotes the circle with radius k centimetres and centre at origin. On the circle C_(k) a particle moves k centrimetres in the counter-clockwise direction . After completing its motion on C_(k) the particle moves to C_(k+1) in the radial direction . The motion of the particle continue in this manner. The particle starts at ( 1,0). If the particle crosses the positive direction of the X -axis for the first time on the circle C_(n) , then n ="__________________" .

The velocity of a particle moving in the positive direction of the X-axis varies as V=Ksqrt(S) where K is a positive constant. Draw V-t graph.

The position vector vecr of a particle points along the positive direction of a z axis. If the torque on the particle is (a) zero, (b) in the negative direction of x, and ( c) in the negative direction of y, in what direction is the force causing the torque?

A particle moving along the X-axis executes simple harmonic motion, then the force acting on it is given by where, A and K are positive constants.
