Taking the rotation and revolution of the earth into account, does a tree move faster during day or during night?

As earth's rotation and revolution are in the same direction, relative to sun
`v_("day")=v_(0)-v_(S)=v_(0)-Romega`
and `v_("night")=v_(0)+v_(S)=v_(0)+Romega`
So `v_("night")gtu_("day")`, i.e., objects on earth move faster in night than in day. Howver `u_("night")gtu_("day")=2Romega=2km//s` which is much lesser than `v_(0)=30km//s`
