The correct Answer is:
1

From F.B.D. of blocks A and B solve acceleration of each block
`4g-T=4a` ….(i)
`T-lg=1xxa` ….(ii)

After solving Eqns (i) and (ii) `a=(3g)/5`
acceleration of A w.r.t. B `a_(A//B)=(6g)/5=12m//s^(2)`
If A will cross B, then distance travelled by A w.r.t. B is 6m
`6=0+1/2xx12xxt^(2),t=1 sec`
For `F_(0)=4m_(2)g`

In the figure shown, the system is released from rest with both the springs in unstretched positions. Mass of each block is 1 kg and force constant of each spring is 10 N/m. Maximum speed of the block placed horizontally is:

A small, light pulley is attached with a block C of mass 4 kg as shown in fig A block B of mass 1.5kg is placed on the top horizontal surface of C. Another block A of mass 2 kg is hanging from a string, attached with B and passing over the pulley. Taking g=10 ms^(-2) and neglecting friction, acceleration of block C when the system is released from rest is x//4 calculate x.

Blocks m_(1) and m_(2) starts from rest and move to right with accelerations as shown. If t is in second then the time when block m_(3) again come to rest from t =0 is (pulley and strings are ideal) : .
