If ten volumes of dihydrogen gas reacts with five volumes of dioxygen gas, how many volumes of water vapour would be produced?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
Ten volumes

Reasction of hydrogen with dioygen can be written as:
`2H_(2(g))+O_(2(g))to 2H+_(2)O_(g)`
Now , two volumes of dihydrogen react with one volume of dihydrogen to produce two volumne of water vapour .
Hence , ten volume of dihydrogen will react with five volumes of dioxygen to proove ten volumes of eater vapour.
