Find the equations of the diagonals of the square formed by the lines `x=0,y=0,x=1and y=1.`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given, `x=0,y=0,x=1and y=1.` form a square of side 1 unit Coordinates of the vertices of the square are `O(0,0),A(1,0),B(1,1) and C(0,1)`.
Now, the equation of AC is
`=>y-0=(1-0)/(0-1)(x-1)`
`=>y=-(x-1)`
`=>x+y=1`
