Find the equation of the straight line u...

Find the equation of the straight line upon which the length of the perpendicular from the origin is `5a n d` the slope of this perpendicular is `3/4dot`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The standard equation of line is` y=mx+c`
given `m=3/4 and c=5`
substituting the values we get `y=3/4x+5 `
`4y=3x+20 `
we get, `4y=3x+20` is the required answer.
