A boat carrying a large number of stones is floating in a water tank. What will happen to water level if the stone are unloaded into water?

Let M= mass of boat, m=mass of stones for floating condition
weight = up thrust
`(M+m)g=V_(D)rho_(w)g`
`V_(D)=M/(rho_(w))+m/(rho_(w))`……….1
When stones are unloaded into the water
`V_(D_(1))=M/(rho_(w))` (`V_(D_(1))=` displaced volume by boat)
`V_(D_(2))=m/(rho_(2))` (`V_(D_(2))=` displaced volume by stones)
`:.` total displaced volume
`V_(D)(')=V_(D_(1))+V_(D_(2))=M/(rho_(w))+m/(rho_(s))` .........2
`:.m/(rho_(w))gtm/(rho_(s))impliesV_(D)gtV_(D)`
So level will fall.
