Find the reading of ammeter .Is this the current through `6Omega`?

`R_(eq)=(3xx6)/(3+6)+1=3Omega`
Current through battery
`I=(18)/(3)=6A` So , current through ammeter
`=6xx(6)/(9)=4A`
No , it is not the current through the `6Omega` resistor.
