The correct Answer is:
B

(A) Convection involved flow of matter within a fluid due to heat transferred from one point to another by the actual motion of matter from a ragion of high temperature to a region of lower temperature.
(B) A hot bar placed under a running top water loses heat with in water. The warmer water rises up , thess leads to circulation of heat from bar to water by the process of convection .
However , heat will be transferred inside the molecules of the bar also by conduction. Thus, the heat transfer when hot bar placed under a running top water is due to both conduction and convection.
(C ) Heat can only be transferred between two system due to their temperature difference in the form of raditious, molecular vibrations, molecular displacement etc.

Regarding the surface tension property of liquids, the correct statements is/are a) surface tension decreases with increase of temperature b) at 20^@ C the surface tension of ethanol is greater than that of water c) the dimensions of surface tension is SI units is Nm^(-1) d) in the fine polishing of the glass, the edges become smooth due to surface tension

The chemical behaviour of dihydrogen is determined, to a large extent, by bond dissociation enthalpy. The H-H bond dissociation enthalpy is the highest for a single bond between two atoms of any element. What inferences would you draw from this fact? It is because of this factor that the dissociation of dihydrogen into its atoms is only 0.081% around 2000K which increases to 95.5% at 5000K. Also, it is relatively inert at room temperature due to the high H-H bond enthalpy. Thus the atomic hydrogen is produced at a high temperature in an electric arc or under ultraviolet radiations. Since its orbital is incomplete with Is' electronic configuration, it does combine with almost all the elements. Atomic hydrogen can accomplish reactions by I)losing the only electron to give H^+ II) gaining an electron to form H^- III) sharing electrons to form a single covalent bond The correct statement/s is/ are
