The correct Answer is:
A

(A) ` TiCl_(4) (l) + 3Mg(X) overset (Delta)(to) Ti (s) + 3 Mg Cl_(2) (s)`
The above reaction is an example of metal displacement reaction in which more reactive metal (i.e. Mg) will displace less reactive metal (i.e. Ti).
Thus , option (II) is related with (A) .
(B) ` 2H_(2) O_(2) (aq) to (2H_(2) O(l) + O_(2) (g)`
The above reaction is an example of disproportionation reaction in which O-atom of ` H_(2) O_(2)` is oxidised as `(O_(2))` and also reduced to ` H_(2)O` . Thus , option (I) is related with (B).
(C) ` C(s) + O_(2) (g) overset(Delta) (to) CO_(2) (g)`
The above reaction is an example of combination reaction in which carbon (s) combines with ` O_(2) (g)` to give ` CO_(2)(g)` . Thus , option (IV) is related with (C).
` 2NaH(s) overset (Delta)(to) 2Na(x) + H_(2)(g)`
The above reaction is an example of decomposition reaction in which NaH is decomposes to Na(s) and ` H_(2)(g)`
Thus , option (III) is related with (D) . Hence ,
` (A) to (II),(B)to , (C) to (IV), (D) to (III) `
and option (a) is the correct answer .
