If one root of the quadratic equation `3x^(2)+sqrt2x+a=0" be "sqrt2`, then find the value of a.

`sqrt2` is a root of the equation `3x^(2)+sqrt2x+a=0`.
`:.3(sqrt2)^(2)+sqrt2.sqrt2+a=0or,6+2+a=0or,a=-8`
`:.` The value of a=-8.
