Prove that the quadratic equation `x^(2)-6x+5=0` have the roots 1 and 5.

We have, `x^(2)-6x+5=0`
or, `x^(2)-(1+5)x+5=0`
or, `x^(2)-x-5x+5=0`
or, `x(x-1)-5(x-1)=0`
or, `(x-1)(x-5)=0`
`:.` Either x-1=0 or, x-5=0
`impliesx=1" "impliesx=5`.
`:.` 1 and 5 are the roots of `x^(2)-6x+5=0`.
