B

Diamond exists as face-centred cubic unit cell. Thus, at the centre of each face one atom is present i.e., `1/2 xx 6 =3` atoms. Also, `1/8 xx 8 =1` atom is present at the corners. Hence, total no. of atoms per unit cell = 3 + 1 = 4 atoms.
