(1) A mixture of liquid A (b.p.366K) and liquid B (b.p.355.5 K).
(2) A mixture of liquid C (b.p.360 K) and liquid D (b.p.420 K).

(1) The two liquids, A and B can be separated by fractional distillation because the boiling points of them differ by just 10.5K.
(2) The two liquids, C and B can be separated by simple distillation because the boiling of them differ widely by 60 K.

A, B and C are three liquids. 4 g of liquids A at 60^(@)C is mixed with 1 g of liquid C at 50^(@)C , the final temperature of the mixture is 55^(@)C . Again, if 1 g of liquid A (at 60^(@)C ) is mixed with 1 g of liquid B at 50^(@)C , the final temperature of the mixture becomes 55^(@)C . What will be the final temperature if 1 g of liquid B at 60^(@)C is mixed with 1 g of liquid C at 50^(@)C ?

Two liquids A and B form an ideal solution. What is the vapour pressure of solution containing 2 moles of A and 3 moles of B at 300 K? [Given : At 300 K, vapour pressure of pure liquid A (p _A^0) = 100 torr and vapour pressure of pure liquid B (p _B^0) = 300 torr]
